The Ooni Koda 12 is what I recommend to anyone serious about making Neapolitan-style pizza at home. It reaches 950°F in just 15 minutes on propane gas, which means you get the leopard-spotted, blistered crust that's impossible to achieve in a standard home oven. I use it for every Neapolitan and canotto bake.
The 12-inch cooking surface fits one pizza at a time, and a full cook takes about 60-90 seconds. The L-shaped burner gives fairly even heat, though you'll still want to rotate the pizza once or twice. It's compact enough to store in a closet or take to a friend's house. If you only make pizza for 1-3 people at a time, this is the sweet spot of price and performance.
